Empezará a funcionar desde el 16 de junio.
La aerolínea Avianca comenzará a operar el próximo 16 de junio una frecuencia diaria más entre Bogotá y Santiago de Chile, con lo cual duplicará sus vuelos semanales entre las dos capitales, informó este miércoles la compañía.
El nuevo vuelo directo partirá del aeropuerto Eldorado de Bogotá a las 2:19 p.m. (hora colombiana) y del Arturo Merino Benítez de Santiago a las 1:18 p.m. (hora local en Chile).
Con esta nueva frecuencia Avianca tendrá 14 vuelos semanales directos en la ruta Bogotá-Santiago, además de los siete que opera entre San José de Costa Rica y la capital chilena con escala en Lima.
Según Avianca, las siete frecuencias adicionales por semana entre Bogotá y Santiago, que serán operadas con aviones Airbus A319, representan un aumento del 48 % en la oferta de asientos en esta ruta y un incremento del 27 % en la oferta total de sillas disponibles de la compañía desde y hacia el mercado chileno.
«En línea con la actual dinámica económica y social entre los países de la región, desde Avianca buscamos fortalecer y optimizar la conectividad al interior de América Latina a través de mayores alternativas de vuelo y horarios», expresó en un comunicado el presidente ejecutivo de Avianca, Fabio Villegas.
